Right now, there are 1,560 children in Franklin County who don’t get enough food to eat at home. These children don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Many only get the food they need from school. But what about during the weekends or over holiday breaks? How can we help these children get the nutrition they need in order to promote healthy growth, brain development and learning? Members of the Agriculture Community and Grady’s Golden Goodness have recognized the need in your community and are joining the fight against child food insecurity through their participation in Drive to Feed Kids. 1 in 10 kids in Franklin County are food insecure. Drive to Feed Kids is a fundraising program that conducts events to help these organizations provide food for food insecure children. DTFK has partnered with agriculture companies to help raise money for Grady’s Golden Goodness in your community and we need your help!
